Final Reflection

Throughout the course of the CAS program, I was able to partake in various activities that helped me grow in the different learning outcomes. One activity that helped me tremendously was partaking in the outreach programs such as the "Anteg- In Literacy Project" and the medical/ dental missions that i joined. These activities aided my growth because after the the activities I felt a great improvement the skills I wanted to improve such as my collaborative skills and communication, which I felt I felt i needed to improve. I saw myself grow personally throughout these activities because i observed that when i first started joining them i was still very hesitant and did not do much. However, as time passed i began to feel that i was able to interact more freely and efficiently with the people that we catered to. In addition to this, my awareness for global issues such as education for all, the fight against poverty and more increased tremendously. Being able to have a more hands- on experience in activities regarding these issues helped me in understanding them more and increasing my awareness of it. Overall, i felt that these activities helped my growth because despite how they were only minor activities i felt that i was able to help other people out to an extent and help improve the areas in which our goals were focused on. 

 Another activity that i felt helped me grow the most was the varsity sports teams that i joined. These activities helped me grow the most because throughout the time i was doing them, i felt that my efforts paid off and the improvement i experienced in these activities carried onto other aspects of my personality. Again, i achieved an improvement in all the skills i wanted to work on.
